Amateurs Schemes for Double-Hand Poker

[ English ]

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game play, beginners should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick decisions.

It’s also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with basically a little amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the casino is given seven cards face down.

One five card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
