Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

[ English ]

Poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer saying "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s value is akin to your original wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes directly to the bank. After the wager comes the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus a sum in accordance with the original wager. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The house pays chips equal to your wager and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
