I’m sure just about anybody who has played texas hold em poker in a very place where they provide alcohol consumption has had this encounter at one time or one more. Everyone at the table was really pleasant except for Mr. I’m all in because I’m intoxicated. He had such a undesirable attitude and I felt like I was on the internet wagering in a freeroll for a moment simply because he would just keep going all in. He’d occasionally just call a wager. Every single time he would just call, I knew he had a terrible hand.
So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my beneficial pocket pairs or my ace some thing. Each time he remained in the hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was practically as if he needed to hand out his cash.
I wagered at that particular table for no less than three hours and I counted no less than 4 times the man went to the Automatic Teller Machine and returned with at least $200 in chips. I would say I probably got at the very least half of what he delivered to the table.
The next day, after I got house and counted my profits, I type of felt terrible for succeeding all that cash. But then again, that dude should not have been wagering texas holdem poker even though he was drunk!
A number of people might say that if I have to question my decisions, then yes, it almost certainly wasn’t the proper thing to do. Except, do I feel negative about it, not actually.
My opinion on taking a drunken person’s money at the poker table is that if they’re stupid sufficient to play while drunk and is being careless, then go for it!
