Double-hand Poker Established Rules

Now let us become versed in some alternate types of poker other than Texas holdem, 5 card stud, five card draw and omaha eight-or-better. Yes, double-hand poker. Now you might be wondering that double-hand sounds a bit Chinese; well you are right, this casino game is a mixture of the Chinese game pai gow and our own American poker
Definitely this is not one of the most acclaimed styles of poker but still broadly played. It can be enjoyed by up to 7 players. It’s played with one deck of 52 cards, with a joker. Interestingly, the Joker can only be used as an ace, or to finish off a straight, flush, straight flush, or royal flush. The critical element here to clearly recall is other than the normal ranking of hands we have an additional winning hand which is "Five Aces" (five aces including the joker). Astonishingly, 5 aces defeats every other hand including royal flush. Every gambler is dealt seven cards. The cards are arranged to create 2 hands; a 2 card hand and a 5 card hand. The 5 card hand has to be stronger or be equivalent to the two card hand.
After setting up the two hands, the cards are positioned on the poker table face down. Once on the table, you can’t touch them. The croupier will turn over their cards and arrange his hands. Every players hand is compared to the croupier’s hands. If the player wins one hand and lose the other, this is known as "push" and absolutely no money is lost or won. If croupier wins the two hands then the player looses their bet and vice versa. Now if the hand is a tie, the croupier wins everything. Once the hand is played, the very next person clock-wise becomes the croupier and the next hand is dealt.
