Newcomer Tactics for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the western in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their $$$$.

One more Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game pace, newcomers are able to take their time and plan while not needing to make quick choices.

It’s also easier to play for a very long time with basically a little amount of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
